The Look: Simple and Sophisticated
The Inspiration: Inspired by South Africa’s HIV epidemic and the stigma attached to the disease, Gert Johan Coetzee created a collection to remind us that we have to look after ourselves and our health. Using a broad colour spectrum, he created pieces with a serious 70s flair, flattering silhouettes and simple lines. Of course, it wouldn’t have been a GJC show without the glam factor, Swarovski-adorned dresses and tops gave the collection its sparkle.
